We are offering both in office and remote. You must live within a 50 mile radius of Akron, OH to be considered for the remote opportunity.

Key Responsibilities – FirstEnergy Remote Customer Service Representative – $14.50-$17.78

  • Handle incoming calls from existing customers
  • Answer customer service-related questions
  • Resolve customer problems
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Weather related outages may require extended hours beyond normal business hours
  • Assist customers with billing issues
  • Take payments and assist customers with payment options

Required Skills and Knowledge – FirstEnergy Remote Customer Service Representative – $14.50-$17.78

  • Computer skills and screen navigation
  • We will run a criminal background check and drug screen in accordance with all applicable laws
  • Ability to work 1st shift hours Monday through Friday and required over time
  • Must have high speed internet to work from home
  • Must be within a 50 mile radius of Fairlawn, OH

Education and Experience – FirstEnergy Remote Customer Service Representative – $14.50-$17.78

  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • 1+ years of customer service or related experience preferred (retail, call center, etc.)

Benefits and Pay – FirstEnergy Remote Customer Service Representative – $14.50-$17.78

  • $14.50 hour and pay increases to $17.78 once hired in with FirstEnergy
