Key Responsibilities – Accounting Technician – $15/HR IN OFFICE
1. Manages a group email inbox and responds accordingly.
2. Checks accuracy and completeness of policy contact data. May select appropriate adjustment, as required, based upon standardized procedures.
3. Replies & responds to vendor emails.
4. Detail Oriented in researching policy files.
5. Operates PC and related software for data storage and retrieval. Assists in making recommendations on related technology.
6. Assists, as requested, in training, allocating assignments to and checking work of support staff.
7. Acts as liaison with other areas, as required.
8. Functions as a technical resource to other Finance associates.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Knowledge- Accounting Technician – $15/HR IN OFFICE
Accounting or Premium Audit practices and procedures. Office practices and procedures. Accounting processing systems. Basic knowledge of GAAP required.
Education and Experience – Accounting Technician – $15/HR IN OFFICE
- Associates Degree in Accounting and Finance preferred, High School Degree Required
- 3 years in related experience preferred. No experience necessary with accounting college degree.
Benefits and Pay – Accounting Technician – $15/HR IN OFFICE
- M-TH schedule up to 7 hours/day – 28 hours max/week.
