Key Responsibilities – Sales Support Specialist (No Sales)

  • As a sales support specialist, you will support sales representatives with whatever they need. You will act as an extension of the sales team when interacting with customers and take ownership of various administrative needs:
    • You may pull and create reports, request pricing details and samples from the appropriate department, and review sales documents.
    • You will manage pricing via a pricing tool and review pricing for order entry along with the sales team and provide customers with notifications of price increases through automated price letters.
    • For new customers, you will ensure material codes are set up correctly, stock and forecasts are set in place, pricing is in the system and approved by product managers, and customer specific delivery instructions have been addressed.

Required Skills and Knowledge- Sales Support Specialist (No Sales)

  • Must demonstrate the ability to manage time as you will need to organize and set priorities to complete multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in SAP and Salesforce is preferred but not required – you will be trained on everything you need to know. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is preferred, especially Outlook and Excel.

Education and Experience – Sales Support Specialist (No Sales)

  • High School Diploma or GED required; college experience preferred
  • 1-3 years of applicable experience in customer service, office administration, logistics, distribution, etc. 

Benefits and Pay – Sales Support Specialist (No Sales)

  • $19.50/hour
  • Hybrid Schedule (Monday and Tuesday in office, Wednesday-Friday work from home)
  • Medical, dental, and life insurance
  • Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule 
  • Casual work environment
