Are you an experienced professional Legal Administrative Assistant looking for a new opportunity in a corporate environment? Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a highly qualified individual to join the team in Akron, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities – Legal Administrative Assistant – $28 to $30 / hr., M-F First Shift Schedule
- Schedule and prioritize appointments and meetings
- Process new cases and claims assignments for litigation team
- Organize and maintain litigation files and electronic databases
- Answer telephone calls and resolve inquiries
- Open and distribute mail
- Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports
- Learn new systems as needed to maximize efficiency and productivity
Required Skills and Knowledge- Legal Administrative Assistant – $28 to $30 / hr., M-F First Shift Schedule
- Client service focused with high level of professionalism

- Motivated self-starter and problem solver
- Successfully manages multiple tasks to timely completion
- Extensive skills working with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong clerical skills including word processing, mail and contact management, spreadsheets, presentations, and company systems and database
Education and Experience – Legal Administrative Assistant – $28 to $30 / hr., M-F First Shift Schedule
- HS diploma or GED equivalent – required
- Minimum of five (5) years’ legal experience in law firm or corporation – required
- Litigation experience – preferred
- Document or contract management systems – preferred
- Certified notary public – preferred

- Full-time, in-office position
- Monday through Friday, 40 hours / week
- Starting pay ranging from $28 to $30 / hour
