Job Description - Electrical Engineer

• Ensure product and quality system integrity
• Implement new products and processes; resolve product performance issues
• Provide expertise and guidance in the creation, testing and evolution of rubber in the tire making process to ensure product conformance to standards and requirements
• Interface with production, quality and maintenance associates to ensure product conformity
• Conduct analysis and provide recommendations to improve and standardize processes and procedures

Key Responsibilities - Electrical Engineer

• Develop and execute activities involving continuous improvement tools, analysis of product irregularities, recommending solutions and facilitating cost down initiatives related to improving product costs. These duties would include training and instruction of appropriate team members and day-to-day floor support.
• Identify and take measures to correct unacceptable performance through analysis and technical knowledge of the product and process including waste and cost reduction.
• Prepare cost estimates, financially justify project, prepare budgets, review design, supervise installation and commissioning. Researches new equipment, systems, and processes to advance plant operations of larger scale projects.
• Develop and implement activities to Ensure safety, environmental and other regulatory compliances by working with appropriate associates on EHS issues, following the implementation of MSR's, and continually improving the communication across all relevant departments.
• Facilitate contractor management process and periodically audit contractor's work to ensure that safe work practices and standard operating procedures are followed.

Requirements - Electrical Engineer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics or similar Electronic Engineering discipline
• Prefer two years’ experience working with multidisciplinary Engineering, Production and Maintenance processes in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills.
• Ability to use appropriate computer-based technology.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and procedures.
• Experience using lean or other methodologies to perform root cause analysis and development of corrective actions
