Key Responsibilities
- Embedded to Project Team with report to Construction Manager
- Submit monthly safety report to Construction manager
- Ensure all project contractors meet plant safety requirements to do their job:
- Use proper PPE = Hard Hat, Ear Plug, Safety Shoes , etc.
- Collaborate with project team members to update, maintain, and improve procedures for current projects
- Ability to conduct investigations, risk assessments, etc. as required
- Responsible for data collecting, data implementation, and working with the project team to use that data to build trends and focus areas
- Work with the project team members to conduct weekly safety meetings
- Responsible for aligning communication between the Contractor and Goodyear
- Recognize potential HSE issues and monitor corrective action to prevent reoccurrence
- Lead new contractor safety orientations
Requirements
Education and Experience – Safety Coordinator, $37/ hour + Benefits
- Education or experience in EHS Management
- Experience implementing safety processes and programs
- Experience tracking, trending and reporting environmental-, health- and safety-related data
- Experience influencing and selling ideas
- Three (3) or more years’ of experience in EHS field – desired
Benefits & Pay
- Starting pay at $37/ hour
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8-hour days (but sometimes 10-hour days)
