Description

Are you looking to expand your skillsets in the healthcare industry working for a Fortune 500 company? Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for being objective and strategic financial partners, leading collaborative cross-functional effort to drive relevant, flexible and efficient financial planning and analysis that supports our key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Executes month end close process, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Assist with recording program costs while appropriately categorizing capital and expense spend 
  • Own budget, forecast, financial reporting, and analytics for a group of work streams 
  • Prepares monthly financial reporting and variance analysis for both total program as well as individual projects 
  • Meet monthly with team VPs, directors, and project managers to review financials, project scope and timeline 
  • Provides financial support and analysis of operating expenses and capital spend; helps identify risks and opportunities 
  • Create insightful reporting to allow program leadership to make informed decisions 
  • Provides ad-hoc reporting and analysis 
  • Prepares monthly financial reporting including variance and financial statement analysis. Able to clearly communicate a cohesive and concise story around business drivers behind financial data and potential implications on future results.
  • Performs customer and product profitability analysis and makes investment and pricing decisions. Identifies opportunities to drive revenue growth, margin expansion and a more favorable mix (i.e., driving preferred products and services). 
  • Serves as an objective financial steward with an enterprise perspective, safeguarding our company’s assets. Ensures strong controls are in place and the company’s intellectual property is protected.
Requirements

Education and Experience – Financial Planner + Must Reside in Ohio

  • Financial & analytical skills and knowledge of accounting processes and procedures Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel a must)
  • SAP experience Ability to analyze and work with a large amount of data and exposure to Alteryx or a similar tool would be desired Accounting experience, especially month end close GAAP Knowledge Strong communication skills and strong presentation skills
  • Bachelors degree in business related field, or equivalent work experience 4+ years experience in related field Skills and Experience
