Export Customer Service
Are you an experienced Customer Service Representative? Our Fortune 500 client in the automotive industry is currently seeking to add a knowledgeable Customer Service Representative to their team!
The Customer Service Representative will coordinate and effectively manage the order-to-deliver process for chemical division customers. This position will be the point-of-contact from the time the order is placed until the delivery of shipment. Responsible for coordinating/resolving any issues throughout the process. The incumbent will coordinate between freight forwarder, steam ship lines, the finance department and Commercial Sales Managers to resolve any conflicting requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
Interface with customers to obtain/review purchase orders. Aligning with Goodyear Chemical business process capabilities. Coordinate with warehouse/shipping, freight forwarders and transportation planning to determine product/carrier availability to set ship dates. Work with Commercial Sales Managers to resolve any conflicting requirements and ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with Commercial Sales, freight forwarders, warehouse and LPC (load planning center) to lead and or assit in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and business process capabilities. Use vendor managed inventory (VMI) system to place orders for Goodyear. Collaborate with Raw Material Coordinators to make decisions on cost versus need for expedited short notice shipments. |
Education and Experience – Export Customer Service
Required: Bachelors degree as well as export customer service experience.
Desired: Masters degree
Desired: Customer service experience working for a chemical company.
Pay: $27/Hour
