*Must be able to work Monday – Friday 7am – 3pm*
Key Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Answers phone calls, provide support to hourly and staff employees.
- Carries out administrative duties such a filling, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
- Exhibits polite and professional communication and supports the team by performing tasks related to the organization.
- Ensures operation of office equipment by calling for repairs and maintaining equipment inventories.
- Maintains supplies inventory by check stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies and placing and expediting orders.
- Maintaining tracking spreadsheets. Formalizing and filing union grievances. Maintaining payroll issues as it relates to Jury duty, Funeral Pay, vacation pay.
- Completing, submitting, and tracking of payroll shortages.
- Maintain employee statues which includes department, schedule and shift.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.
Requirements
Education and Experience – Administrative Assistant
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior administrative experience perferred
