AV Technical Support
Description
Provide leadership and program management for the design, planning and implementation of collaboration and communication technologies across the organization. Support the adoption and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Create technical documentation and manuals to be used by other IT resources.
- Responsible for meeting with key resources in the organization to evaluate their collaboration needs and assist with the adoption of these solutions.
- Be the point of contact for users to engage with the Enterprise Video Services team and interface between the users and the AV Engineers.
- Provide 2/3 level support for AV implementation in felid location across the domestic US.
- This includes working with appropriate onsite contacts and vendors to address issues identified along with shipping any replacement equipment required to the locations.
- Consulting with users to assess their AV needs and recommend suitable systems and setups
- Installing various types of AV equipment, including monitors, speakers, projectors, and conference room systems
- Running and managing cables and wires, and ensuring they are properly concealed and safe
- Configuring and calibrating AV systems to ensure optimal audio and video quality
- Performing regular maintenance checks on installed AV systems to ensure they are functioning correctly
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting any issues with AV equipment
- Providing training and instructions to users on how to use their AV systems
- Working with vendors and suppliers to order necessary equipment and parts
- Ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards
Requirements
Education and Experience – AV Technical Support
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related Technology field, or equivalent work experience.
- Five (5) years of equivalent work experience in information or engineering environment.
- A related advanced degree may offset the experience requirements.

- $27 an hour starting pay
- Daytime schedule (9 AM to 5 PM)
