HVAC Technician
Description
Actively seeking a full-time HVAC Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair heating and cooling units and maintain the day-to-day operational needs of an industrial building. This position locates and identifies problems in commercial building systems and creates a plan to execute necessary repairs. HVAC units range from chillers to larger split systems and mini splits.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly inspections of commercial facilities. Perform repairs as needed for the upkeep and maintenance of these facilities.
- Repair and perform preventive maintenance on AC systems including package, split, and chilled water systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and control systems.
- Participate in ongoing training to meet minimum job requirements and as new equipment or processes are developed.
- Use facilities management software, Microsoft word, Excel, and Outlook to track work.
Requirements
Education and Experience – HVAC Technician
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- HVAC: 3 years (Required)
- EPA Type III or Universal EPA (Required)
