What You’ll Do
As a Data Center / IT Support Specialist, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our data center infrastructure:
Hardware & Infrastructure
- Install, configure, and decommission servers and network devices
- Perform hardware upgrades and replacements
Troubleshooting & Maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues such as server crashes and network failures
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
Cabling & Connectivity
- Manage and organize network cabling and patch panels
- Ensure clean and efficient cable management
Monitoring & Documentation
- Monitor infrastructure for alerts and respond to issues
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, maintenance, and incidents
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with remote technical teams for hands-on support
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Compliance & Safety
- Follow data center security protocols and safety guidelines
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
Education and Experience – Data Center / IT Support Specialist
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Minimum of one year of IT support or data center experience (required)
- Familiarity with data center tools and IT service frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
- Basic understanding of network protocols and configurations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
