Schedule: 2-2-3. 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (Applicants must be able to work either shift)
The First Tire Check Operator is responsible for performing the initial inspection of newly manufactured tires to ensure they meet quality and safety standards before proceeding to final finish or shipping. This role is critical in identifying defects early in the process and maintaining production quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual and manual inspections of tires for defects such as bubbles, blisters, cuts, sidewall damage, improper curing, or tread issues.
- Verify tire specifications, including size, uniformity, and bead integrity.
- Tag and document defective tires and follow proper procedures for scrap or rework.
- Enter inspection results into quality tracking systems accurately.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to address and resolve recurring issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE at all times.
Education and Experience – First Tire Check Operator

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior manufacturing machinery or tire plant experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify small defects.
- Basic understanding of tire construction and quality standards.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
