Safety Manager
Description
The Health & Safety Coordinator supports the implementation, administration and continuous improvement of the site’s Health & Safety Systems & Programs. This role works closely with operations, to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements while promoting a proactive safety culture through employee engagement, risk reduction, and continuous improvement. This role serves as a visible safety leader by conducting routine inspections & investigations, coordinating safety training, and assisting with corporate and plant Health & Safety initiatives.

- Ensure all associates meet plant safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Submit monthly safety reports to the Management Team.
- Conduct routine safety audits for PPE, LOTO, housekeeping, and related areas.
- Collaborate with the management team to update, maintain, and improve safety procedures.
- Perform investigations and risk assessments as required.
- Collect, implement, and analyze data, working with the team to identify trends and focus on key safety areas.
- Partner with the management team to deliver safety training, meetings, and new‑hire orientation.
- Align communication between InnoSource and the customer regarding safety matters.
- Possess knowledge in the following areas: confined spaces, hazardous communications, LOTO, electrical safety, industrial power vehicles, emergency response, emergency evacuation planning, hot work, heat stress, and stop‑work authority.
Requirements
Skills and Knowledge – Safety Manager
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Minimum of 2 years of safety experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance
- Conducting safety inspections and audits
- Incident and accident investigations
- Root‑cause analysis
- Developing and delivering safety training
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Managing PPE programs
- Forklift safety operations
- Emergency response planning
Education and Experience – Safety Manager
Education
- High School Diploma required
- Associate’s degree in occupational safety & health or relevant field preferred but not required
Experience
- 2 years of safety experience preferably in manufacturing

- Hourly Rate: $30–35 per hour, full‑time, paid weekly
