A new study from the University of Chicago highlights the benefits of using voice AI in the hiring process. The research, which analyzed over 70,000 applicants, found that AI-led interviews deliver measurable improvements across multiple outcomes:

  • 12% increase in job offers

  • 18% increase in job starts

  • 17% higher 30-day retention

The study also revealed that AI-led interviews elicit more hiring-relevant information from applicants compared to human-led interviews – without reducing applicant satisfaction.
