Graphic Designer & Production Artist
The Graphic Designer & Production Artist supports the Creative Operations Director and Creative Team by executing high-quality design and illustration work and marketing assets. This role contributes directly to the visual strength and consistency of the Simon Says Stamp brand.
As a creative professional, the Graphic Designer & Production Artist plays an important role in curating content, providing collaboration and support while executing projects efficiently, timely, and to a high standard.
Reporting Structure & Supervision
● Works under the creative workflows, timelines, and processes established and implemented by the Creative Operations Director.
● Collaborates with the Marketing Director, Marketing & Engagement Manager, and Simon Says Stamp Brand Manager. Design & Creative Execution
● Design products for each monthly design deadline as assigned by the Creative Operations Director, following established direction and production requirements (1-2 stamp sets, 2-3 die sets, 1 stencil, 1 set of EZ Strips).
● Create graphics for product releases, card kits as assigned by the Marketing Director.
● Perform product photography, image correction, and editing as needed.
● Execute product photo shoots and other creative production needs.
● Create bundle images and supporting visuals as assigned by the Simon Says Stamp Brand Manager.
● Proof artwork, packaging, store imagery, and/or other product-related assets for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with design standards.
● Support the Creative Operations Director on key initiatives and product development projects.
Professional Standards & Team Contribution
● Participate in weekly and monthly meetings; track assigned tasks, execute projects accurately and on schedule.
● Maintain clear, timely communication via email and calendar, ensuring responsiveness and accurate time tracking.
● Come prepared to meetings and contribute thoughtfully to discussions.
● Remain adaptable and supportive of evolving project needs in partnership with the creative leadership.
Skills and Knowledge – Graphic Designer & Production Artist
● Professional graphic design experience required.
● Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
● Demonstrated creative writing skills.
● Experience with AI tools and workflows preferred.
● Proficiency using Google Drive, Google Docs, spreadsheets, and basic calendaring tools.
● Basic understanding of design principles and creative production processes.
● Passion for or experience within the paper-crafting or creative hobby industry preferred.
● Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
● Self-motivated team player able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
● Remain adaptable and supportive of evolving project needs in partnership with the creative leadership.
Education and Experience – Graphic Designer & Production Artist
● 1-3 years of experience in graphic design
● High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
- Compensation: $45,000-$59,000/yr.
